Where It All Began – The Story of TattooBull Studio
TattooBull Studio’s journey begins not in a studio, but with a suitcase full of passion and ambition. In 2010, while living in Canada, our founder Hakan Demiroğlu began sending tattoo supplies from Canada and the U.S. to Turkey. These were listed on GittiGidiyor — one of Turkey’s earliest e-commerce platforms. This humble beginning marked the birth of Panormos Tattoo.
How it all Began
At the time, it was nothing more than a small, amateur operation – no shop, just online orders and a vision. While working as an engineer, Hakan continued this side hustle, fulfilling every order himself. But as his passion grew stronger, he made the bold decision to leave engineering and pursue tattoo supplies full-time.
By 2013, the dream had evolved. A small studio and supply shop opened in Çanakkale, blending creativity and commerce. Two years later, the e-commerce and logistics side of the business moved to Bandırma, where the warehouse grew, and Panormos Tattoo became a trusted name. The Çanakkale studio kept the flame alive for artists in the region.
How things Changed
In 2015–2016, something new was born: TattooBull — a brand of professional tattoo products designed for and by artists. That same year, the brand expanded internationally, opening a company in Amsterdam and launching into the European market.
Soon, the TattooBull ProTeam formed, uniting talented tattoo artists from across Turkey to represent the brand at international conventions. Though TattooBull traveled across Europe, attending expos and connecting with artists, it still had no physical studio abroad.
Until 2020, all tattoo operations remained under Panormos Tattoo Studio in Çanakkale. Then, a big shift happened.
Where we are Now
In 2020, TattooBull Studio opened its doors in İzmir, on Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street — marking the beginning of a new era. The tattoo studio and skincare products were now unified under the TattooBull name, while the supply business continued separately under Panormos.
In 2023, the İzmir studio moved into its now-iconic historical Greek house — adding soul to the space where ink becomes art. In 2024, the team launched the Izmir Tattoo Fest and opened a new Bornova branch, expanding their community even further.
Today, TattooBull Studio is more than a studio — it’s a movement.
Rooted in passion, built through persistence, and powered by a growing community of artists and dreamers.
